• WaveCaster

WaveCaster is the British Columbia Wireless Network Society's informatics architecture.

Synopsis

The system was crafted by the founding members and volunteers of B.C. Wireless, for the purposes of:

• Enabling collaboration, co-operation and communication between members, volunteers, citizens and other Community Networks
• Observing trends and identifying common areas of interest amongst Community Networks.

• Providing a flexible ApplicationProgrammingInterface to allow for integration to third party networks and services.

• Providing identity management and authentication services for B.C. Wireless's applications of Community Network technologies.
• Managing volunteer and member activities.

• Defining and describing objects in a Community for use by CommunityApplicationServices.

Wave Caster is always under development, thus documentation is not complete. Please use the WaveCaster/IdeasAndSuggestions and WaveCaster/Bugs resources to identify new ideas and help us track down bugs in the architecture.
