The Acutime™ 2000 GPS smart antenna is designed for long-term reliability and features Trimble's latest GPS technology. It generates a pulse-per-second (PPS) output synchronized to UTC within 50 nanoseconds (one sigma), outputting a timing packet for each pulse.

The Acutime 2000 can also be set to use Trimble TimeTrigger™ technology, in which the host system sends a pulse to the Acutime 2000 and responds with a time tag. TimeTrigger technology enables a user to utilize precise GPS timing without introducing latencies associated with using a customary PPS output.

It is the ideal solution for precise timing and synchronization of wireless voice and data networks and provides a cost-effective and independent timing source for any application.

For developers, Trimble offers a Starter Kit that includes the receiver, cabling, the Acutime Monitor software, and the User Guide.
