Chat Help
If you've never used an IRC network before you can read more about it from our IRC Network Services page.
This spiffy web interface will connect you to the network. You should download your own IRC client if you plan on using
the network regularly as the web client can be confusing to use.
There is now an experimental Java applet for use. Try it out if the regular chat program gives you problems.
If you need technical help (such as coordinate lookups, range calculations and other math related stuff) you can talk to WifiFred, our Community
Wireless IRC bot. Say !help in the channel for a list of functions WifiFred listens to.
There are many other channels available as well but some will require you to download your own IRC client. Some popular IRC clients are mIRC (for Windows) and X-Chat (Linux/BSD/Windows).
